Being one of the biggest markets for the company, there is no doubt that the platform will soon introduce the new ad-based plan in India as well.

For those unaware, there is already a very affordable Netflix plan available for the users in India. This plan comes for Rs 179 per month only. With this plan, users will get the experience of Netflix content library directly on their mobile. Note that in the US, an ad-based plan is available for $6.99 (approximately Rs 568) per month.

Netflix’s ad-based plan will show ads for approximately 4 to 5 minutes every hour that the user watches something. It’s not too bad, but yes, when you are watching something interesting, it can bother you. Netflix’s most premium plan is currently available in India for Rs 649 per month.
