New Delhi: After forming a government in Maharashtra, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and his first visit to the national capital have no political agenda, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said on Saturday. Ekadashi coming on Sunday.

Shinde declined to comment on the Shiv Sena’s move to the Supreme Court, which has challenged the formation of the government and the election of a speaker, saying, “This case is justified. I don’t want to talk about that. After all, in a democracy, numbers and majority matters. We are 164 and so we are in the majority. We have the constitution, we have the law, we have the rules. No one can go outside that window. We have established the government according to the rules, nothing is illegal and we have full faith in the judiciary.
Deputy CM Fadnavis and CM Shinde Visit Delhi
Earlier, after landing in Delhi on Friday evening, the duo addressed President Ram Nath Kovind, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP president JP Nadda as “courtesy calls”. He will also meet Prime Minister Modi.

Taking into account the interests of the farmers, he said, “We will take forward only those projects which have lagged behind in recent times.”
Fadnavis was made big by his big-hearted party (by agreeing to become the Deputy Chief Minister) and tried to erase it by saying that his heart is big. “Also, I have become the chief minister, so I say, the chief minister is the leader, Shindeji is our leader and we will all give a successful government.”
Shinde quickly added that people always believed that the BJP was always behind the power, but “this party (Shiv Sena founder) has shown the Hindutva ideology propagated by Balasaheb Thackeray.” Both Shinde and Fadnavis have a natural alliance and have done nothing wrong, he said.
