Maruti Alto K10 2022 : Maruti Suzuki has released yet another teaser video of the new-generation Alto K10 hatchback. The teaser video shows a sneak peek of its interior, along with its updated front and rear profiles. The new 2022 Maruti Alto K10 gets a larger hexagonal front grille, revised front bumper with thinner air dams and larger bulbous headlamps. The side profile looks more or less the same as the current model, with new wheel covers expected.

At the rear, the new Alto K10 closely resembles the next-gen Celerio. It has squishy taillamps. The chrome treatment on the lower bumper, chrome highlights on the window line and chrome strip on the lower door handles will be offered exclusively on the range-topping trim.

There will also be some noticeable updates inside the cabin. The new 2022 Maruti Alto K10 will feature a floating touchscreen infotainment system and a semi-digital instrument cluster. The Information Unit will support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Its dashboard will be completely new. New upholstery will also be available in the hatchback.
Engine details of Maruti Alto K10
A new 998cc, naturally aspirated K10C petrol engine will be offered in the new Maruti Alto 2022. The motor will churn out 66bhp of peak power at 5,500rpm and 89Nm of torque at 3,500rpm. Both manual and AMT gearboxes would be on offer. The current 796cc, 3-cylinder F8D petrol motor will also be on offer.
Dimensionally, the 2022 Alto will be bigger than the K10 current generation. Its total length, width and height will be 3530 mm, 1490 mm and 1520 mm. The hatch will sit on a 2380 mm longer wheelbase. The next-gen model will also switch to the new Heartect platform. The model line-up will be composed of 4 trims – Std, LXi, VXi and VXi+ (8 manual and 4 automatic variants).
