MJPSKY Yojana: Maharashtra Crop Loan Waivers Scheme for Farmers, The Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Karjmukti Yojana Yojana, also known as the MJPSKY, is a debt relief scheme initiated by the Maharashtra government. Under this scheme, a budget of Rs. 2350 crores has been allocated in the financial year 2022-23 for programs related to cooperation, textiles, and industries.

The scheme is aimed at providing relief to farmers in the state of Maharashtra who are struggling with debt. The program provides benefits to farmers who have outstanding loans, including those who have taken loans from non-institutional lenders.
The scheme has been approved by the government and is being implemented in accordance with program number VH-02, 2435- other agricultural programs, 60 other programs, and 101 farmers for debt relief under the MJPSKY Yojana for the year 2022-23. MJPSKY Beneficiary List
Dear Farmers, if you have taken a crop loan and are eligible for the MJPSKY Yojana – Crop Loan Waiver Scheme, please visit your nearest CSC center. You can check if your name is in the 4th list of eligible farmers for the scheme. To receive the benefits of MJPSKY Yojana, you will need to provide your Biometric Thumb Authentication.
To oversee the disbursement of funds, the government has appointed a control officer, the Assistant Registrar and Auditor of Cooperatives, Cooperative Societies, Maharashtra State, Pune, along with other officials. The scheme also involves accountants, cooperative officials, and auditors who will oversee the distribution of funds.
The MJPSKY Yojana is an essential initiative by the Maharashtra government to support farmers in the state and provide them with relief from their debts. The scheme provides a ray of hope for farmers who are struggling to make ends meet due to financial distress.

The scheme was approved on July 27, 2022, at a ministerial meeting, and on July 29, 2022, the Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Farmers’ Loan Waiver Scheme 2019 was issued, which provides incentives to farmers who have fully repaid their short-term debt. On February 8, 2022, a new accounting heading was created for the current scheme, and on August 29 and 30, 2022, the Department of Finance and the Department of Cooperation respectively authorised the allocation of funds for the scheme.
The scheme’s implementation is overseen by the Cooperative Commissioner. The current scheme has a budget of Rs. 4,700 crore for the financial year 2022-23.
