Maharashtra Government: The Shinde Government has taken a big comforting decision regarding the electricity bill. Due to this decision, the electricity bill customers of the state will get a financial relief. In this, the electricity bills of the household and agricultural pumps will be waived off.
Although the decision was taken by the then Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s Council of Ministers, the Shinde government has provided a subsidy to waive the electricity bill. In this mainly the farmers who have regularly paid the agricultural pump electricity bill or if they have paid 50 percent of the electricity bill, the remaining 50 percent of the amount of those farmers will be waived.
For this, a subsidy of Rs 250 crore has been distributed to the MSEDCL company by the state government. In this decision, if the domestic consumers whose household electricity bills are overdue for many years pay 50 percent of the outstanding bills, the electricity bills of these consumers will be waived.
